The service
MoveRecord is a free web tool that arranges photos and notes you provide into a PDF and a backup file on your own device. It is provided as a convenience for organising your own records.
What it does not do
- It does not inspect property, assess damage or its cause, or value anything.
- It does not verify when or where a photo was taken, or that a photo is genuine or unedited.
- It is not legal advice and does not replace any official form, inspection, signature or notice required by your lease or local law.
- It does not decide, and cannot promise, any outcome about a bond, deposit or dispute.
Your responsibilities
- Use photos you are entitled to use, and respect other people's privacy in what you photograph and share.
- Check the PDF before you rely on it or send it, and keep your original photo files.
- Download your work before closing the tab. Records are not stored by the service.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available and working, but it may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn. We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do.
Limitation of liability
MoveRecord is free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including loss of unsaved work or the outcome of any tenancy matter, except where the loss is caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
Open-source components
The PDF builder uses pdf-lib 1.17.1 under the MIT license. The license text is available at /vendor/pdf-lib/LICENSE.md.
